The Defying Gravity Witch is a original watercolor painting I create.

The series of the flyig witches was inspired by the anime Fly Witch and how they use the magic of the broom to fly. With that I took it a step farther on how each witch fly's differenty from each other. Maybe depending on where they originate from or what their culture is. Do they travel with their familiar or not? These are some of the questions I ask myself when I started to sketch a witch out.
 Defying Gravity is no different. Inspired by Wicked with her colors. She takes great joy in defying gravity as she flys through the skys. The power to fly is something that brings her great joy and wonder. 
Prints are embellished with white, and black ink.
