The Metamorphosis of Nymph is a original acrylic painting. This work is about the constant changes women go through out life. Her she is changing once again this time in the spiritual way she is shedding her body. Flowers bursting from her to cocoon her as she leaves her physical body behind. The change pulling others creatures that go through a metamorphosis to swarm around her. Almost in encouragement for her change. 
Doing a bit of word play on the title of the work. Nymph being a Greek myth of a women that is connected to nature, as well as the name of the half way stage that insects go through metamorphosis. 
Painted on 24” by 36” inch stretched canvas. 
Sealed in a satin varnish.
